The Capital Ex will open it’s gates once again beginning at noon today, July 19. There are always so many different things to see and do and we often go back a few times to take everything in.
This year, members of our family will be heading down a total of three times to make sure we take everything in.
I will be covering some fun parts of the Capital Ex as a lifestyle blogger so I will be posting about a night out at the Ex next week. My husband and I are in for a treat and I am looking forward to sharing everything with you so check back.
I will be taking our girls one day next week with my parents to take a look around and let them experience the younger side of the fair. The past two years, my daughter really enjoyed the pretend farm where you can collect various produce and turn it in in the end for a snack. She also loved the merry-go-round.
And lastly, my husband will be heading down to the grounds on the night that Sebastian Bach is playing. It is the one person/band he really wants to see this year, so I’m thinking it will be a fun guys night out with friends.
We’ve all been planning what we want to eat while we are there too. There are always the tried and true meals that never go out of style such as pizza, mini donuts, perogies, chips — yum yum. I’m hoping to find some new items to try this year too.
I will also be participating as a blogger in a scavenger hunt on Friday and will be tweeting mid-afternoon.
