Our youngest daughter is quickly catching up to our oldest. She wants to do everything that her big sister does and so she is developing at rapid speeds now. I’m not sure this mommy is ready for the days to come, but I’m going to buckle up and enjoy every minute of it.
This weekend, it was drawing. She saw her big sister colouring at the table, and she wanted in on the action. She shimmied her highchair closer to the table, reached forward, pulled in a piece of paper and a crayon and just started drawing as her older sister and I stared at her with our mouths open.
This is perfect timing for the new promotion on right now with Disney Junior.
Disney Junior is challenging little artists this month with ‘Draw Along’ with Stella & Sam. And that isn’t even the coolest part. Your child’s drawing could be featured on the television during Disney Junior’s Stella and Sam Canada Day Marathon that starts on Sunday July 1st at 11:30am ET.
Here is the skinny on how to enter:
- You have until Friday, June 22nd to enter.
- Go to www.disneyjunior.ca/en/contests/draw-along to create and colour your drawing
- 10 lucky winners will have a chance to see their drawings on television during the Canada Day Stella & Sam Marathon on Disney Junior on Sunday, July 1st starting at 11:30am ET. Those winners will receive gift packs containing Stella & Sam books, apps, DVDs and a music CD!
- Everyone who participates in the contest will be given the opportunity to download the brand new Stella & Sam ‘Draw Along’ iPad app for free.
Also on Disney Junior this month:
- Look for Hook Week: From June 18th to June 22nd at 5:10pm ET – Captain Hook will be the star of Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates! And a brand-new episode titled “Captain Hook is Missing” will premiere at the end of the week at 5:10pm.
- Special Agent Oso meets Handy Manny – That’s right, it is going to happen. On Sunday June 3rd at 10:30am ET, your kids will get to see the two characters meet. Oso will need to help a friend fix his bike and Handy Manny and his Tools will come to the rescue.
