I feel like I’m about to go on a blind date. Tomorrow, I (and you) will be introduced to my new website.
I decided to have my life online redesigned and I’m pretty excited.
It is a little bittersweet though. I designed my old site myself way back when I started This Bird’s Day. I love my original design, but it is time to grow up — and to move on.
Some parts of my original site limited me to what I felt I could write about. I started my website for me, to write about what I want to write about no matter how random it was, but tag lines and design kept pulling me back to certain topics and my life online felt incomplete.
A new year is coming and so is a new website. I will still post about topics I have in the past, but now I will also add all of the other things that float to the surface when I ponder.
So if you are reading this and thinking “I don’t see any changes”, then it hasn’t happened yet. If you are wondering where the hell you are, then Welcome to the new website!
I hope you will stick around. I’ve grown very fond of you.
