Our youngest has just started eating solids. We began with the rice and wheat cereals, and now we are on to everything else. As our pediatrician puts it, all the colours of the rainbow for fruits and veggies, and meats too. I normally make my own baby food. If you’ve got a good blender, it’s pretty easy. But there are times that buying baby food is necessary, and finding a good quality food is important.
Baby Gourmet was started by a mom who wanted what we all want as moms; what is best for her child. She was unhappy with the options available for baby food and set out to create her own delicious creations that tasted great and were a healthy choice for her child.

All of the flavours in the Baby Gourmet line are Organic and Kosher. They all contain NO thickeners, fillers, added sugar or added salt. And they taste great. I make sure to try out any foods that I am feeding my baby to make sure that the taste is good, and these were wonderful.
I also love the packaging. They are made of a BPA-free, resealable package that is easy to take along in a diaper bag. The package allows you to squeeze what you need on to a spoon for easy feeding. You can also hold the package and allow your little one to suck the food right out of it which leaves very little mess.
We will be flying home this month and I will be taking some of these along with us. They will come in handy while we are out visiting all of our family and friends. Having baby food on hand at all of these locations is impossible, but it is easy to pack a few in the diaper bag, and when our youngest gets hungry, we can just pull one out and start feeding right away.
This is also going to be wonderful on the plane just in case she gets hungry when we are crammed in with over 100 other passengers.
