From August 5 – August 17, Gap has a Baby & Kid sale going on across Canada and the US. This is just in time for picking up some extra outfits to send your little one back to school in style and it was perfect timing in our house. Little Bird is three years old so she is not ready for school yet, but I am going through both girls rooms this weekend and packing up the clothes they are too big for and bringing out the new clothes to put in to their closets.
This time, I just bought clothes for our oldest. Our youngest gets all of her hand-me-downs already, and our oldest is in need of some fun clothes for the fall.
New to the Gap this fall is the Portobello Collection. The clothes in this collection add a little sophistication to kids styles and the girls clothes in this line are pinks and browns that go well with each other and will be a great fit going in to autumn (the boys clothes have fun blues, browns, oranges and burgundy).
I picked up some fun clothes for Little Bird this weekend. To start, I grabbed a pair of Cute Boot jeans with an adjustable waist from the Back-to-school collection for $20. They have some jeans on sale at $20, $25 and $30 price points in Canada. I understand they are on sale in the US starting at $15 (lucky ducks). I also couldn’t resist the Cable Knit Cape in Neutral from the Portobello Collection. I can’t wait to dress my oldest in this when the weather starts to cool.
Then I came across some printed T’s that were on sale for Buy One, Get One for $5.00, so I picked up these two shirts. I love the sparkles on the Ice Cream shirt.
Moving on, I grabbed 5 socks that were on sale at 5 for $15 and finished it up with a dark pink/blue reversible hat from the summer collection that was on clearance for $4.99.
