On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
With identity theft becoming a problem around the world, the importance of protecting your name is so important. Doing something as simple as shredding your personal information before it leaves your house can save you countless hours and dollars in the long run. Fellowes is a trusted name in paper shredders and they would make a great gift for the person who handles the home office.
We received a Fellowes P-8C shredder. It is a cross cut shredder which means that it shreds vertically as well as horizontally at the same time. It shreds up to 8 pages at a time (unfolded) and also shreds paper clips, staples and credit cards.
I like that the power switch is in the back. Out of sight, out of mind for little kids in the room. Speaking of which, there is also a safety lock that will disable the shredder. The machine is sturdy and quiet and I recommend that every house have one of these.
Papa Bird does most of the bills and filing and since we received the Fellowes P-8C shredder, he has been using it a lot. He is really enjoying it and says that it is easy to set up and use, shreds great and it looks good in our office.
Since using the shredder, I’ve been thinking back to all of the pieces of paper that have left our house with our names on them. Where have they ended up? This is a fantastic, practical gift to get any adult on your list and they have a retail value of approximately $60.
