On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
My favorite gifts at Christmas are all of the gifts that my daughter opens. Its not so much the gift itself, but the reaction and excitement that comes from unwrapping them.
Bumblebee Toys is a Canadian company that sells high quality, durable toys for kids. They are based in British Columbia and none of their toys require batteries. They are picky with the products they list on their site and test everything to make sure that the items are interesting to kids and will be played with.
We were sent the new Tugboat from Green Toys. Green Toys manufactures new toys out of 100% recycled plastic milk containers. Better for the environment and lots of fun for the kids.
I have to admin that I was hesitant about the Tugboat at first. I have been under the misguided impression that for a toy to be fun, it has to be complex. Not so. Baby Bird loved the Tugboat and it also did double duty. Its a fun toy that floats and carries her other toys around the tub, and when it comes time to shampoo her hair, it has a little spout at the front that worked great as a hair rinser. And it is fantastic for pouring water. I used to use a cup, but now I’m hooked on the Tugboat too.
