I have some exciting news to share, and it includes you too.

I posted last week about the chance to win some great Secretariat promo merchandise. If you haven’t already, make sure you head on over there to enter to win. The Secretariat will be released on October 8, 2010.

I am receiving some fantastic entries and it sounds like a lot of you guys want to see the movie.

Well, I have some movie passes to give away. And these aren’t just any movie passes, they are for the screener. So you can see the movie before the rest of Canada… How cool is that?

So, if you live (or know someone who lives) in or near the following cities, you are eligible to enter. Please note that the passes will be emailed so if you are entering for your Aunt Sally because she lives in one of the cities, you can. Once the winners are drawn, I will just need to know the names of who will be attending and the email to send the tickets (this prevents unlawful printing of the tickets).

The cities are:

• Edmonton
• Calgary
• Winnipeg
• Toronto
• Vancouver
• Ottawa
• Halifax

I have a family pass for 4 available in each city listed here to attend the screener on October 6: Calgary (7:00pm), Ottawa (7:30pm), Vancouver (7:00pm), Halifax (7:00pm), Edmonton (7:00pm), Winnipeg (7:30pm).

I also have a family pass for 4 for Toronto (7:00pm) on October 7.
