With today’s fast-paced world, it is hard to sit down and research the ‘best of the best’ products to buy for yourself and your loved ones. Even when you do find the time to locate good products, it can be frustrating when you begin the online ordering process only to find out that Canadian shipping is not available.
Organically Hatched brings together wonderful, safe, organic products all on one site. And best of all, they are a Canadian company.
Summer is rapidly approaching and Organically Hatched has a large selection of sun and swimming items and toys to entertain and protect your child.
I was sent a few items for review to kick off summer in our household, and I am impressed. All of the items were top-quality, and have instantly become necessities in our household. Organically Hatched really does sell the best of the best stuff.
We received the Banz Sun Protection Bucket Hat in green hibiscus, and it has become my favourite hat for Baby Bird. In my opinion, the best quality it has going for it is the adjustable elastic/velcro strap. Baby Bird wore it outside on a windy day and all I had to do was tighten the strap so the hat fit snugly to her head and it didn’t blow away.

The hat is made with 100% Cotton, and has a Ultraviolet Protection Factor rating of 50+ and will block out more than 97.5% of UVA and UVB Rays. The brim of the hat is large so it really keeps the sun off of Baby Bird’s face as well. And as you can see, the hats are super cute and bright.
The hats are available at Organically Hatched for $16.99 and I am thinking about buying a second colour for Baby Bird.
Now, what is summer without icecream? Icecream and young kids though, make for a messy adventure mostly because they are slow eaters, or their coordination isn’t really developed yet. I had only recently heard of the Dripstik and I think it is one of the best summer/kid inventions out there.

The Dripstik is two sided. On one end, there is a little slit big enough to fit a frozen treat on a stick, and on the other is a hole big enough to fit an ice cream cone. The best part is that both sides also have a cup around the slit/hole to catch any frozen goodness that has melted away.
These are available at Organically Hatched for $6.49, I’ll be buying a couple more when I place my next order.
Last, but definitely not least, we received Bug Joose, a chemical free bug spray by All Things Jill.
I hate bugs, but I hate chemical bug sprays too – oh, what to do! All Things Jill has answered that question with a wonderful, all-natural, made in Canada spray that smells heavenly. In a nutshell, the ingredients are Witch Hazel, Aloe, Water, Citronella, Lavender, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Pine Needle, Lemon Grass and Eucalyptus; some of the ingredients are also certified organic.
I thought something that smelled this good would definitely attract the bugs, but I wasn’t bothered once by them. I just love finding good products that work that are also chemical free, especially when I use them on Baby Bird. Bug Joose is available at Organically Hatched for $11.99.
In addition to the numerous amazing products at Organically Hatched, their service is wonderful. They are also always looking for new products, so their inventory is always growing. If you want to keep up to date on their new products as they arrive, you can join their mailing list.

I'd like the sun hat for my daughter. She really hates wearing hats without straps for some reason so it's been difficult trying to find something with sun protection and a strap (and fashionable too)
