Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Escape From Dino Island, the newest release in the best-selling DVD series from Anchor Bay Entertainment arrived at stores on May 4, 2010.

I have never watched Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! before so I was interested in seeing what it was about. Baby Bird instantly liked it. The characters are cute, colourful and she liked watching Wubbzy bounce around.

I like the Mr. Men cartoon series and this reminded me of Mr. Men but for young kids. The dinosaurs in Escape from Dino Island are friendly looking and Baby Bird loved watching them. She is almost two years old now and doesn’t like watching some cartoons with more life-like, scary monsters.

In Escape from Dino Island, Wubbzy and his friends Widget and Walden go to Dino Island and they tell Wubbzy not to get too close to the dino’s. The adventure begins and the different stories unfold. Wubbzy and his friends also teach lessons in being honest, sharing and friendship.

Complete with a lot of singing and music that had Baby Bird dancing away, this DVD has 7 episodes (which includes one bonus episode). The episode titles are:

Escape From Dino Island
Wubbzy the Hero
Call of the Mild
Wubbzy and the Sparkle Stone
Daizy’s Purple Thumb
Mt. Fizzy Pop
Too Much of a Doodle Thing! (bonus episode)
