I’ve been reading the Sh*t My Dad Says Blog and following Justin Halpern on Twitter for a while now and this guy has serious talent for writing. I always get so sucked in when I visit his sites and I find myself rereading previous posts and tweets over and over again.
I was so excited to find the book, Sh*t My Dad Says in my mailbox when I returned home from our holidays. Justin took his childhood and adult experiences with his family, specifically his father, and has finally written a book. A New York Best Seller at that.
I haven’t put this book down. In all of my spare time, on my breaks and when I’m pretty sure there are other things I should be doing — I have been reading it. I’m completely drawn into Justin’s life through his words.
I’m not giving any of it away. Actually, you can see a lot of Justin’s quotes by reading his Twitter or blog pages.
This book has quickly become one of my top 10 all time favorite books. I don’t know if you are like me, but I have a small stack of books that are in an easy to reach spot because I know I will want to pick them up and read them again and again. This book is going with them. I am even going as far as to say that this is my top must-have book of 2010.
You can buy Sh*t My Dad Says on the HarperCollins website for $17.99. As of writing this, it is also on sale at Amazon.ca for $12.99 or Amazon.com for $9.35.

Looks like an interesting read.
Oh, he has a book now? That's awesome! His Twitter account is hilarious, I bet this is great.
I heard they were working on that sitcom too. I can't wait for it. The book is definitely worth owning.
I heard this morning that a sitcom was coming soon inspired by the tweets starring William Shatner
It sounds delightful! I might need to go to my local bookstore for this one…
