Iams has a new prebiotic pet food formula called ProActive Health. Available in dog and cat food, it is formulated to help maintain your pet’s gastrointestinal health. I am excited to say that I’ve been included in this blog tour and am eagerly awaiting a sample of the cat food to try out on our two cats.
We have two senior cats aged 18 and 14 years young and their health is very important to us. I am excited to try out this new formula as one of our cats does struggle with somew gastrointestinal stuff and I welcome any products that can help her out.

Oh wow Sheri, I would definetly use the Iams Dog food! My hubby & I bought our little pom back in October..I completely fell in love with her! Unfortunately we could not bring her home with us as we live in a appartment that doesn't allow pets. I somehow persuaded my parents to keep her until our home is finished being built, which is soon! I have stayed over at my parents quite a few times training her & taking care of her. She had kennel cough, a bladder infection, & surgery..she's been through so much! We love her so dearly!

We have a domestic short haired cat. She is 15 years old and she likes to hiss at our 5 year old male Shih Tzu dog for no reason at all. They will sit on the same couch and not bother eachother. But sometimes they will by pass eachother and you will hear barking and hissing all at the same time. I would choose the Iams for my cat as she can eat anything as we have to watch our dogs stomach.

One of my daughters and her boyfriend have a Pomeranian named Vanity! Vanity is the most hyperactive dog I've ever met; she's always shaking! She's also a very picky eater and loves Iams products!

Hi all,
I used to buy Iams for my 3 little dogs years ago until I found out they are one of the worst for "cruel" animal testing!! Just thought I would give you a heads up on this as I don't support this company whatsoever and would love to see it go out of business because of the unecessary testing they do, My goodness google the "teeth testing" they did for there new food on white teeth!! Anyways just my two cents :o)

we actually have 3 pets in the house with us. 2 cats and a dog. Misty, our 10 year old female is the mother of the house. She sets the tone for the day. She generally doesn't like people, except for a select few. She's a loner pretty much. She is a real hunter and often tries bring her latest catch into the house! She is pure black and is my oldest daughter's cat, except that we seemed to inherit her when her owner moved out. Snoopy, our 7 year male is orange, quite fat and just wants to be loved by whomever will pay attention to him. He is our younger daughters cat, except that we have discovered that she is allergic to cats so can never touch him. So it looks like we have inherited him too! Murphy is our 4 year old Shih Tzu male – black and white and he is just like having a third child in our house. We have to spell certain words, like walk, treat, banana etc. He is on a strict allergy diet, but loves our human food whenever someone will share. He also loves human attention, cuddling, hugs and kisses. He started out being our younger daughters dog, but has evolved into a family pet. Quite lovable!! He is a big doggy trapped inside a small doggy body! love hime to pieces. Would definitely use the coupon towards our large cat food bill!

I've got 3 dogs and 1 cat.
Not really sure what their breeds are.. I've always told people they are the 'mutt' breed, average animal breed lol =) same with the cat!
Dogs: Pepper is 9 years old and her health is declining but she's still running around like a pup.
Pumpkin is my "official" dog, she's about 4 years old, runs around alot and very very hyper. It's easy to get exercise outside with her.
Buster is maybe 5-6 years old. My brother got him from the humaine society. He was abused as a young pup and they found him as they were leaving the area; he was hiding under the house. To this day he doesn't like tall, slightly large men or people wearing hats/hoods.
My cat's name is Boots. My parents got him from my aunt for me a month after my 23 birthday last year. So he's only 10 months old but he looks like a 2 year old cat. Reminds me of a tomcat that lives outside. heh. He's all black with some white patches on his stomach that [not lie!] is in the shape of a heart.

I have 3 crazy cats:
- Kacey (silver tabby) – she's almost 14 years old – a lazy beast who LOVES TO EAT!!!!
- Hiccup (grey and beige shorthair with white paws – looks like she's wearing white boots!) – 7 years old – I think this one has a split personality – loves you one second, hisses the next (strange girl!)
- Twizzler (black and white shorthair) – 4 years old – very friendly and thinks she's a dog – we call her our "cog"

We have a pug named Macgyver, and he will be 6 this June.
This would be great. I have 3 dogs – 15 yr old Dalmatian, a 4 year old Golden and a 2 yr old Bichon as well as an 8 yr old cat. The Bichon loves to pull the Golden's tail and also he loves to pounce on the cat and looks up so proudly.

Well, long story short – we have 5 cats, but 2 are my Dad's and 3 are my hubby and mine! Their names are Farley (my brother named him), Gizmo (I named her), Magoo (my Dad named him), Mousey (originally named Houdini but more appropriately renamed), and Fefe (my hubby named her – the momma that showed up on our door hungry 1 day and pregnant)! Any little extra bit of cat food helps this hungry bunch!!
