Jupiter Industries (My Natural and Petstages) Review & Giveaway (Closed)

Jupiter Industries is a Canadian manufacturing and distribution company that began in 1981. The CEO of the company was asked by his father to develop a new sleep product for his grandchildren. Since then, Jupiter has become Canada’s leading manufacturer of crib mattresses.
Because of Jupiter’s strong commitment to better health for children, environmental stewardship and animal welfare the company decided to compliment their manufacturing business with the distribution business.

Today, Jupiter Industries is the exclusive Canadian distributor many quality children’s toys as well as many of the top lines in the pet industry including several organic and eco-friendly products. Among the top selling lines that Jupiter distributes are the miYim organic infant toy line, the Simply Fido organic pet toy line, Robbie Dawg organic biscuits, Petstages developmental toys for cats, dogs, and birds and Little Gifts jewelry and giftware.

Jupiter Industries sent me a brunette rag doll from My Natural by MiYim to review. I also received some wonderful pet toys from Petstages that I will talk about in a moment.

The My Natural dolls are all 100% non-toxic and made with all-natural cotton. They are free from harmful bleaches and chemicals and made with natural mineral and soy colouring using a low-eco impact dye process. This is one of the cutest dolls I have ever seen. I read somewhere that kids like dolls that don’t have a fixed expression on their face because they can use their own imagination to decide how the doll is feeling. The body (skin) of the doll is soft to the touch and the hair is made from a string-like yarn.

The doll comes with her own overalls, but since we received her she’s been dressed up to attend church with Baby Bird. She has also accompanied us on many outings as Baby Bird enjoys playing with her.

We had a cute dress for Baby Bird at Easter that came with a smaller dress for a doll. I didn’t get many good shots of both together because as soon as I showed her the doll, they became immediate best friends and kept running away on me.

We took Baby Bird out for a bike ride. She sits in a children’s buggy that Papa Bird pulls. We put her doll in one of the cup holders to show Baby Bird that everyone needs to be strapped in while the bike is moving. She got a kick out of that.

Now on to our lucky cats. Jupiter sent us some cat toys from Petstages and I learned something new. I didn’t realize that Petstages had developmental toys for cats.

You’d think pet toys are pet toys right? Well Petstages breaks the toys down in to categories like Soothing, Chewing, Interacting and Playing so that you can choose a toy that will suit the needs of your pet.

We received the ORKAkat Catnip Stuffers which are in the ‘chewing’ category and are supposed to help promote dental health as the cats chew on them. I like this because there were two in the pack and our cats are just like siblings, so one each keeps the peace in our house.

Petstages can be found at most stores across Canada where pet food and items are sold.
