I always get excited when I see my column (It Makes Cents) in my community paper. This month I wrote about saving money and gardening. Our new house comes with a garden area and I can’t wait to grow some fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs this year.
This month when my community paper came to my door I found that I was on the front page. Yay me! I’m pretty pumped…

Thanks Marg – I will put those on my list. Aren't fruits and veggies just better fresh from the garden? My mouth is watering just thinking about all of that!
Sheri: one of the easiest plants to grow is green beans except if you have a problem with rabbits or groundhogs. Tomatoes especially the small ones like grape tomorrow are great but require some maintenance. Fresh strawberries growing in the garden are the best if you have space. These are just a few suggestions that have worked for me. marg p
