Nickelodeon is releasing iCarly: iFight Shelby Marx on DVD on March 30, 2010. Included in this DVD are a total of 4 iCarly episodes.
I haven’t watched an episode of iCarly before so I was looking forward to putting this one in the DVD player. I watched a little bit while I played with Baby Bird and I really enjoyed it.
So if you are like me and haven’t watched this show before, iCarly is about a teen-aged girl named Carly who creates her own web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam and Freddie. The humour and situations are very family friendly and enjoyable to watch at the same time.
In the TV Movie, iFight Shelby Marx, Carly is challenged to an exhibition match with Shelby Marx, the best female fighter in the world. Shelby assures Carly that it is just for show and she won’t get hurt, but due to some meddling by an enemy of Carly’s it looks like the fight may become real.
Baby Bird asked to go lay down for her nap in the middle of the show and once she was asleep, I came back and continued to watch the episode because I had to see what happened. If you are a mom to a child who still naps, you understand how important those 1 – 2 hours are to yourself, and I spent them watching the rest of the DVD. Long story short, I’m glad I saw this DVD, when I see iCarly on my TV schedule, I will now be tuning in.

The DVD is about 140 minutes in length and it will be released on March 30, 2010.
