rifken 3D lg web Scarecrow Finds a Friend Book ReviewI received a copy of Scarecrow Finds a Friend from Author Marketing Experts Inc. Written by Blume J. Rifken and illustrated by Carl W. Wenzel, this book encompasses what it really means to be a friend.

This story takes place right after Thanksgiving dinner. It is a childrens story about a friendship between Scarecrow and Tally, a good and friendly witch who has lost her ability to fly properly because she has granted too many wishes. Scarecrow comes up with a plan to help Tally get her powers back that he guarantees will work.

The colours in the illustrations are nice fall colours so they match the time of year that the story takes place. It is well written and it shows in the end that Scarecrow was right. His plan couldn’t have possibly gone wrong because he was a true friend.
