Original Christmas Classics Limited Keepsake Edition – 12 Days Review & Giveaway (Closed)

November 2, 2009 · 425 comments

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…

Original Christmas Classics Limited Keepsake Edition 12 Days Review & Giveaway (Closed)What would the holidays be without your favorite Christmas shows. Remember the classics? The ones you grew up with? We have a list of about 7 holiday shows that we love watching every year. The ones that help to get you into the Christmas spirit and give you the motivation to decorate your house or brave the masses at the mall on a Saturday.

FrostyClassic Media has released 7 of those favorite holiday classics in one limited edition keepsake set, digitally remastered and just in time for the holidays. They sent me the 4-disc set to review, and I am so glad they did as this is a great addition to any holiday movie collection. The set comes in a sturdy holder complete with images from all of the classic movies. The classics include:

  • Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
  • Frosty the Snowman
  • Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town!
  • The Little Drummer Boy
  • Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol
  • Cricket on the Hearth
  • Frosty Returns

Also included in the set is a bonus Holiday Music CD featuring many classics including “Let it Snow”, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to name a few.

RudolphOur household loves holiday music and movies. There are so many great ones to choose from. A long standing tradition for me is to play Christmas music and watch holiday movies while we decorate our tree. This year we will be enjoying the classics all over again. It’s also nice to have such loved classics all together in one set. The movies are all just as I remembered them, but with a better quality now that they are remastered.

This box set is a great gift for anyone who loves to watch Christmas movies during the holidays and it is available everywhere DVDs are sold for a retail price of $39.98.

Inside DVDClassic Media has generously offered one lucky This Bird’s Day reader an Original Classics Limited Keepsake Edition of their own as a giveaway.

To enter: Go to Christmas Classics and take a look around at the great oldies that are included, then come back here and leave a comment at the end of this post telling me what your favorite classic is out of the ones on their site (please include your email or a way to contact you should you win). *You must do this for any additional entries to count.

After you have completed the first entry, you can enter an additional comment one time only for each of the following:

  • Become a public follower of This Bird’s Day (either in the right sidebar or through Facebook at the bottom of this page).
