Home Outfitters Friends & Family

November 28, 2009 · 1 comment

I just got back from Home Outfitters. The one in my neighbourhood had their friends & family night. They had a few prizes (a chocolate fountain, a bed set and a Keurig). I was not a winner tonight.

I wasn’t shopping for too much and what I was shopping for wasn’t on sale. I got there about 6:30 and there were some stations set up. At the beginning a lady was making coffees for people with her Keurig. There was also a super yummy frozen egg nog smoothie station and a Nespresso station where I got a latte.

They had different chocolates and mints out as well. I found a nice brown corduroy bedskirt in the clearance section. Regular $40, I got it for $4 because it was a display product. There weren’t any stains on it so a quick wash and it will be ready to go.

By 7:30, I was done looking around. I had to wait until 8:30 for the prizes to be drawn though so I wandered for a couple of minutes. Then I found it — a $3,499 massage chair. Let me tell you, that was a pretty freaking amazing machine! Each time my turn was up I looked around to see if anyone else wanted to try it. Nope? Okay then… 45 minutes later and I was super relaxed.

And now I am home. It wasn’t a bad night, but they’ve had better friend and family sales there before.

Oh Sheri, I wish I was there to have gone with you… haha, I need a bed skirt too! Maybe next year! They are fun and a cheap night out!

Love Nancy
