The weekend is here. Papa Bird has three days off and this is a VERY SPECIAL weekend.
Baby Bird turns 1 year old on Sunday. Grandpa and Grandma Bird are in town and we are going to have fun, fun, fun!
We just got back from Baby Bird’s one-year check-up, and she is doing great. Right now she is napping (and so is Papa Bird). Once they wake up we are going to the Capital Ex (the old Klondike Days). We got 4 free tickets from a neighbour.
We will be celebrating her birthday on Sunday and are spending the rest of the weekend taking it easy and getting the food, house and yard ready for our guests.
