The Swerve – Review & Giveaway (Closed)

Today I have a review that Papa Bird got to help me with. The Swerve is a full body groom tool that was designed by two friends who wanted to help men easily shave the back of their necks without nicks, cuts or asking for help from their less than enthusiastic wives.

The Swerve is a razor that fits into an ergonomically designed handle that fits in the palm of your hand. It makes shaving the back of your neck easier than a regular razor does. Try it on your own right now. Cup your hand and put the palm of your hand on the back of your neck and rub…now pretend you are holding a razor at the back of your neck. The design of the Swerve just feels more natural. (Okay, how many of you really put your hand behind your neck to pretend?).

So, Papa Bird tried it out twice so he could give a proper review. The Swerve is packaged in a nice carrying case which makes it good for storing or traveling. Papa Bird’s initial reaction was “That’s it?”. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of this simple looking tool.

Papa Bird said the Swerve was a good tool for shaving the back of his neck and upper shoulder area. It comes with a lubricating strip, but shaving cream or gel should also be used. Papa Bird followed the instructions on the card that came with the Swerve and cleaned and stored it properly. After the second shave, The Swerve was still intact and looking good.

From my point of view, The Swerve did a great job on his neck. To the touch, it was so smooth and soft. It looked great as well, I couldn’t see any stubble.

There is also an arrow on the Swerve that indicates what direction you should be shaving in. Papa Bird tried to shave some of his back with it, but kept getting confused as to the direction he was supposed to be going in. I think that will take some practice.

Papa Bird said that this is a good tool for anyone who regularly shaves the back of their neck, or for their wives who want a break from shaving it for them!

It’s not all for men… the Swerve can be used as a regular shaver for women as well.
