Home Outfitters has their Friends & Family night on tonight in my area from 6-9:30 pm. You may want to call and check your local Home Outfitters to see if it is on in your area and if you can go. Usually when mine is on here, my moms store in Winnipeg also has it on.

They do this twice a year to get rid of extra stock. Usually around April and November. Depending on what deals your store puts on, your can get some great sales. The set up and specials vary by store, but here’s a list of some things you can expect.

• treats – there are usually refreshments, cheese, fruit, etc.
• contests – you can enter to win a list of prizes
• games – they sometimes have a game you can play and once completed you can get a small prize or enter to win again
• sales – there are sometimes hourly deals, on the spot deals, extra discount off of clearance and much more.

Again what you can expect varies by each store as well as by each sale. My store hasn’t had the same night twice.

The best deal I ever got at one of these was a king-sized Nautica duvet cover, regular price $224.99 for $1.00 – ya, you read right!!!
