My First Workout

I had my first workout in a long time tonight, and I enjoyed it. I bought a membership at a local club (they were running a promotion) and I have been meaning to do something for and by myself for a long time. This will give me an hour out of the house a few times a week to do something good for myself and rejuvenate me. Gulp, I weigh in at 199 lbs. It’s as good of a number as any to start at.

I went through a workout plan with a personal trainer and learned the first of three workout routines I will be doing for the next month or so. I used to hate working out, but I am actually looking forward to my next visit. We’ll see if my legs and butt feel the same way in the morning.

I think I’ll get one of those tickers and put it in my sidebar for motivation.
